Hello. My name is Les Seamster. I am an Artist/Engraver. I was born in Kansas and have lived in various places while growing up. Then in 1975, I moved to Texas where I met and married my wife, Shronda. I made my home in Allison, a small community in northwest Texas, where I found work in the booming oil fields.

In the 1970’s, thieves were a very common sight, stealing anything they could get their hands on that could be resold. After having my own belongings stolen, I began to engrave my name on all my tools and equipment to discourage thieves. Then one day I engraved my name and company logo into my aluminum hard hat. When my co workers saw this, they commissioned me to personalize their own hardhats. Later I began inscribing beautiful country and wildlife scenes on sheets of enameled brass and aluminum. And by 1984 I turned a side line business into a full time career.

I credit the change in my career to Ecclesiastes 9:10 which is inscribed under my signature of every piece of my, artwork, which reads:

“Whatever thy hand findeth to do, do it with all thy might”

Not having any formal art training and being raised in a Christian home, I quickly realized it was a gift from GOD.

In 1986, I was invited to display and sell my artwork in beautiful Branson Missouri.. GOD has opened up new doors in other art mediums-pencil, oil, and watercolor. These are very exciting times for Shronda and me, giving us the opportunity to encourage and uplift others who are struggling with life.
